If you are unable to login to your ASTRO Backup account, follow these steps to have a new password sent to you. The username is the email address that you signed up with.
While in ASTRO, Press your phone's Menu button > Preferences > ASTRO Backup Preferences > Account Management > Recover Account.
You will type in your email address and press Recover Account button and you will receive a recovery email with your new password. Enter this as soon as possible.
NOTE: Once logged in you can immediately change your password to what you would like by going back to the Account Management section of preferences and choose Change Password.
I have done all of this. I have changed my password. I have hit recover account, but no matter what I do, it still says invalid email and password. I have even uninstalled and reinstalled. I'm open to suggestions. HTC EVO 4g.
There isn't ASTRO Backup Preferences under Preferences..
I too have done all of the above and cannot log onto my astro account; likewise there is no "backup preferences under preferences.". Droid Bionic. Also, cannot back up to the cloud, no menu options or icons available. What happened to the cloud and trashcan icons and functionality???

I can't even get the confirmation email after setting up the Backup account. Been waiting for two hours and no email, no activation and no instructions for backup. And I can't get anyone to answer an email.
No Backup Preferences in mine either. I tried signing up for a Backup account for the Cloud two days ago. THREE times I tried. NEVER got any confirmation email to activate the thing. Put in two service tickets. And it's now two days later and I still have no account for the Cloud. Does ANYONE from Astro ever respond to emails???
I can't log into my existing account with my new android google nexus the is no astro backup preference in the menu. My previous phone and tablet don't have this issue. Is this an issue with the android 4.0 os? What can I do to resolve this issue.
