I think it would be cool for users to be able to have either customized skins, maybe even icons.

Agreed. Then they could bring back the full colored icons instead of everything blue icons, which makes no sense from an UI perspective.

I absolutely agree with you Drew... In fact I hate the new UI, the old UI was the main reason I stuck with Astro and liked it so much... Now I'm already thinking about switching to another file manager... Sad...

I detest blue!  Especially the chosen shade. 

 

Please, please give us back the old technicolor and gold motif as an option.  This blue, blue and more blue is not an improvement.  Nor is the new icon design.

 

The old motif was far more attractive and I think attractive is what you want.
